Dashes, Crashes Set for Smash-O-Rama Saturday Nightadmin
Bring your appetite for destruction to Meridian Speedway this Saturday, May 12 as the quarter-mile asphalt oval celebrates Smash-O-Rama. The Royal Purple Modified Series, Pro Trucks, High School Tuners, and Bombers provide the racing thrills while American Daredevils star Mr. Dizzy, an old-fashioned demolition derby, and Boat Race of Destruction provide the spills. If that’s not enough, Meridian Speedway caps Saturday night with its first fireworks display of the year.
The crashing starts early at Meridian Speedway as professional stuntman Mr. Dizzy performs a death-defying stunt show. The Smash-O-Rama action doesn’t end there, as a hard-hitting demolition derby and crowd-favorite Boat Race of Destruction make sure that Saturday night’s hits keep on coming.
Racing action includes the ground-pounding Royal Purple Modified Series and the full-contact Pro Trucks as they descend on Meridian Speedway for the first time in their 2018 campaigns. Who will escape the track affectionately known as the Concrete Jungle with a main event win Saturday?
After a rough and tumble first outing, the High School Tuners start their engines for a second round in the Concrete Jungle. With DJ Sirani and James Gates tied atop the division point standings, something has to give this week.
General admission to a full night of racing and wrecking is just $18 for adults, $6.50 for kids 7-11, and as always kids 6 and under get in free. Gates open at 4:45 p.m. and the first green flag flies at 6:45 p.m. Skip the line at the gate and save some dough.
