Boat Races are Back for Weed Man Lawn Care Night

Boat Races are Back for Weed Man Lawn Care Night

Satisfy your appetite for destruction this Saturday, July 11, with the Weed Man Lawn Care Boat Race of Destruction at Meridian Speedway.  The North West Tour Truck Series, Coors Super Stocks, Project Filter Pro-4s, Domino’s Legends, Firehouse Pub and Grill Bombers, and Big Daddy’s Barbecue Hornets round out a Saturday night full of short track thrills and spills.

The beating and banging begins early on Saturday as the North West Tour Truck Series rumbles back into the Concrete Jungle.  Watch for the fenders to fly early and often as these full contact truckers battle for their Feature Flag.

The Coors Super Stock ranks host another big money main event featuring Pro Late Models from around the Northwest.  Perennial title favorite Melissa Weaver enters Saturday night with a comfortable point lead over Daytona Wurtz and rookie Gary Kyle, but it will take a flawless night for the lady racer to pull off another early-season victory.

Jordan Harris has been on a tear to open Project Filter Pro-4 action this year.  His reward is a 75 point cushion over Athena, Oregon racer Cody McDonald, 85 markers over Ryan Bailey, and a full 91 ahead of title favorite Kenny Chandler.

After thrilling twin features as part of Meridian Speedway’s Independence Day festivities, the Domino’s Pizza Legends come back for more this Saturday night.  The influx of talent from around the West has raised the competition level to unprecedented heights, meaning an even more entertaining night of racing for the fans in the stands or that tune in on SpeedCast.tv

Dylan Wardle leads the High School Tuners into Saturday’s action.  The youngster currently sits atop both this and the Junior Stinger division points, but faces a full night of work if he is to top Gavin Kellar, Blaine Roberts, and Riley Bradford to go three-for-three on the season.

The Firehouse Pub and Grill Bombers go door-to-door as they look to dethrone early point leader Kedrick Preston.  Rob Taylor and Kevin Matuska currently lead the charge to dethrone the Oregon racer, but in a division as rough-and-tumble as this one, anything can happen.

Smash or be smashed is the mantra for Meridian Speedway’s World Famous Boat Race of Destruction.  Who will be the last one standing when the smoke clears Saturday night?

General admission for Saturday night’s full slate of short track action is just $14 for adults, $12 seniors and military members, $7 for kids 7-11, and as always, kids 6 and under get in free.  Tickets are only available online through the Tickets link on www.meridianspeedway.com.  Gates open at 4:45 p.m. with racing at 6:45 p.m.  You can also catch all of the Weed Man Lawn Care Boat Race of Destruction on SpeedCast.tv.  We’ll see you this Saturday, July 11, for the Weed Man Lawn Care Boat Race of Destruction under the big yellow water tower at your NASCAR Home Track, Meridian Speedway.
