Cool the Rule at Kendall Ford Hot August Cruze and Drag Nightadmin
The Treasure Valley’s coolest hot rods and customs invade Meridian Speedway this Saturday, August 20 for Kendall Ford Hot August Cruze and Drag Night. Along with a host of rod and custom-themed events, the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Modifieds, CT400 Winged Sprintcars, and TATES Rents Hornets will compete for precious late-season points.
With just two race nights left before a champion is crowned, look for competition among the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Modified drivers to ratchet up. With two main events on the evening’s itinerary, Saturday may be moving day in the series standings.
Buhl, Idaho driver Stacey Jensen has set the pace all season long in the CT400 Winged Sprintcar division. With just one more event scheduled after Saturday night’s action, watch for the competition to give Jensen their best shot.
The TATES Rents Hornets pack the quarter-mile to cap Kendall Ford Hot August Cruze and Drag Night. Josh Randolph mastered Eve of Destruction, and this big points night has catapulted him past Adam Deane into the points lead. Can Randolph build on his point lead this Saturday, or will Deane pull back into the championship picture?
Saturday night’s family fun also includes a Clarity Credit Union Penny Gold Rush for Kids.
