Lantern Fest Lights Up Meridian Speedway Saturday

lantern festAfter two weeks of epic racing Meridian Speedway falls silent, but not dark this Saturday, April 30, for the Boise Lantern Fest. This event, organized by Sack Lunch Productions, combines a carnival atmosphere with live music and shows, culminating in the twilight release of personalized paper lanterns.  For $45 dollars participants age 13 and above receive all day event access, everything they need to construct and launch a lantern, plus a s’mores kit.  Kids ages 4 through 12 are just $5 and children 3 and under are free.
