New Year/New Ride: Preston Henderson

New Year/New Ride: Preston Henderson

After a successful season in the Teleperformance Street Stocks, young Preston Henderson finds himself among a whole different breed of racer this season.  Instead of a full bodied stock car, Henderson takes the wheel of a Pepsi Crate Car for the 2019 campaign.  Though a seasoned wheelman, Henderson expects a learning curve in his first year.

“I’m looking forward to learning, mostly,” Henderson says.  “And figuring out how to pilot this new ride.”

Henderson hasn’t had to look far for advice.  With the likes of Mike Jackson and “The Jet” Johnny Giesler providing help and insight over the offseason look for Henderson to be fast right out of the gate at the Pepsi Crate Cars’ first event on Saturday, April 20.

“I also look forward to running with the guys and girl in this class,” Henderson says.

Others on Henderson’s team include Mac McCreary and his grandparents, affectionately known as G&G Q.
