Pepsi Sprintcars, Pro-Late Models Headline Saturday Action

The Coors Big 12 Pro-Late Models and Pepsi Sprintcars invade Meridian Speedway this Saturday, April 24, for the Dairy Queen Bike Races 4 Kids.  Also on tap Saturday are the Bud Light NASCAR Modifieds, Boise Bath and Kitchen Company Mini Stocks, and Zamp Stingers.  Plus, kids can take their turn on the quarter-mile before opening ceremonies!

The Coors Big 12 Pro-Late Model Series makes its debut in the Concrete Jungle Saturday night.  Formerly the Super Stock division, the Coors Big 12 Pro-Late Model Series combines the speed of late model racing with the door banging, paint trading action of classic, steel-bodied stock cars.

Johnny Giesler leads a strong contingent of Pepsi Sprintcars onto the quarter-mile asphalt oval for the first of their nine races of the season.  With close quarters racing and open wheels, there’s action at every turn in this lightning-fast division.

The Bud Light NASCAR Modifieds return for their second turn at the Concrete Jungle.  Point leader Josh Fanopoulos has his mirrors full of Kyle Latham, former division champions Brendon Fries and Colton Nelson, and a host of speedy modified competitors in search of the night’s Trammel Construction Feature Flag.

The Boise Bath and Kitchen Company Mini Stocks take their first turn on track Saturday.  Reigning division champion Travis Pavlacky looks to pull off the championship hat trick in 2021, but has a strong pack of racers close on his rear bumper.

The Zamp Stingers take their first green flag of the season on Dairy Queen Bike Races 4 Kids night.  Don’t miss your chance to watch the future stars of Meridian Speedway hone their racing skills in the Concrete Jungle.

Calling all Dairy Queen Bike Racers!  Bring your bike and helmet and meet Brent Arte at the turn four gate after qualifying to take your shot at the quarter-mile.

General admission for the Dairy Queen Bike Races 4 Kids is just $13 for adults, $11 for seniors and military members, $7 for kids 7-11, and free for kids 6 and under.  Gates open at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, with the first green flag at 6:30 p.m.  Log on to www.meridianspeedway.com to purchase your advance tickets now, and text ‘meridianspeed’ to 84483 for exclusive text club updates.  Full flag-to-flag coverage of the night’s action will be available via SpeedCast.tv.  We’ll see you this Saturday, April 24, for the Dairy Queen Bike Races 4 Kids under the big yellow water tower at your NASCAR Home Track, Meridian Speedway.
