Boat Bash Rings in Speedway New Year
Meridian Speedway crashes into 2025 this Saturday, March 15, with the Busch Light Boat Bash of Destruction. Gates open at 2:30 p.m. this Saturday and racing starts at 3:30 p.m. The Idaho Asphalt Services Hornets take the track first for sixty minutes of mayhem as they run the ‘One Hour of Les Bois’ endurance race. Then, the Firehouse Pub and Grill Thunderdogs reintroduce themselves to the quarter-mile with a bruising Boat Race of Destruction.
The former grocery getters of the Idaho Asphalt Services Hornet division take the year’s first green flag Saturday. With just one hour to settle the season’s first contest, you won’t want to miss a second of the close quarters action.
Once a winner is crowned the Concrete Jungle shifts gears to nautical nonsense with the season’s first Boat Race of Destruction. The Firehouse Pub and Grill Thunderdogs headline an event filled with chaotic thrills and spills as boats get battered, bashed, and busted all around the speedway.
General admission to the Busch Light Boat Bash of Destruction is just $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and military members, $8 for kids 7-11, and free for kids 6 and under.
