Saturday is Ladies Night at Meridian Speedway

All ladies get in the Concrete Jungle free this Saturday, May 1, as Meridian Speedway hosts the Ladies Night Twin 25’s presented by Dirt Kart.  The Coors Pro-Late Models, Mulder Engineered Race Engines Junior Late Models, Pauly’s Bar Room Street Stocks, Big Daddy’s Barbecue Hornets, and Firehouse Pub and Grill Bombers take on the quarter-mile asphalt oval in search of the night’s Angry Easel Feature Flags.

After a thrilling debut on the quarter-mile last Saturday night, the Coors Pro-Late Models return for more door-to-door racing on Ladies Night.  Daytona Wurtz and Melissa Weaver turned in an instant classic as they battled door-to-door for ten laps last week.  Can Wurtz go back-to-back on Ladies Night, or will Weaver score her first 2021 victory?

The future of Meridian Speedway is now every time the Mulder Engineered Race Engines Junior Late Models rumble onto the quarter-mile.  Kasey Kleyn scored a win in the division’s first feature, but Nevaeh Hull and Delaney Grace look to bounce back after each encountered an issue in their season debut.

With one hard-hitting feature in the books, the Pauly’s Bar Room Street Stocks return to the Concrete Jungle ready for two 25-lap runs to the Angry Easel Feature Flag.  Josh Fanopoulos took home the division’s first victory, but has his work cut out for him if he wants to stay ahead of the pack.

No fewer than three Big Daddy’s Barbecue Hornets left the ground in their last appearance in the Concrete Jungle.  And that was without having to negotiate the chicane!  What will this week’s program have in store for the most popular division in the Concrete Jungle?

The Firehouse Pub and Grill Bombers provide some of the most exciting beating and banging on the quarter-mile, and look to continue this trend Saturday.
