SMASH O’ RAMA Brings Boat Races, Mr. Dizzy, and More to Meridian this Saturday Night

SMASH O’ RAMA Brings Boat Races, Mr. Dizzy, and More to Meridian this Saturday Night

Chaos reigns this Saturday, May 8, as Meridian Speedway hosts its annual Smash O’ Rama extravaganza.  Alongside world famous stuntman Mr. Dizzy, a demolition derby, fireworks, and the ever-popular Boat Races of Destruction, the Bud Light NASCAR Modifieds, Project Filter Pro-4s, Big Daddy’s Barbecue Hornets, and Firehouse Pub and Grill Bombers battle for the night’s Idaho CDL Training Feature Flags.

With its debut in 2019, Smash O’ Rama instantly became a fan favorite.  This year, the mayhem includes the world-famous stuntman Mr. Dizzy, a good, old-fashioned demolition derby, The Beat Jet Dragster Meltdown, fireworks, and more.

A pair of defending division champions square-off in the Bud Light NASCAR Modified ranks this Saturday.  Last year’s Bud Light NASCAR Modified champ Brendon Fries and Pauly’s Bar Room Street Stocks title-winner Josh Fanopoulos have split the year’s main events thus far, but have a whole field of challengers to fend off if they’re to continue this back-and-forth.

Matt Melby dominated the Project Filter Pro-4 ranks in their first action of the season.  Can Ryan Bailey, or any other driver, put up a fight for the Idaho CDL Training Feature Flag this week?

After their reintroduction to the chicane last Saturday, the Big Daddy’s Barbecue Hornets and Firehouse Pub and Grill Bombers race into Smash O’ Rama ready for another hard-hitting night in the Concrete Jungle.

General admission to a full night of racing and wrecking is just $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and military members, $7 for kids 7-11, and free for kids 6 and under.  Gates open at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, with the night’s first green flag at 6:30 p.m.  Seats are filling up fast!  Log on to to secure your advance tickets now.  Can’t make it out to the Concrete Jungle?  You can watch live or on-demand with  We’ll see you this Saturday, May 8, for Smash O’ Rama under the big yellow water tower at your NASCAR Home Track, Meridian Speedway.
