SpeedCast.tv Productions Fire Up For Month of Mayadmin
A bit of normalcy returns to Meridian Speedway during the month of May, which kicks off this Saturday, May 2, as the track partners with SpeedCast.tv to produce the Back on Track Test and Tune. Saturday’s production goes live at noon with the broadcast continuing until 5 p.m. Mountain Time. Due to Governor Little’s Rebound Idaho guidelines, all productions in May will be closed to the public.
Competitive action returns to Meridian Speedway at 6 p.m. Mountain Time May 9, as SpeedCast.tv televises the Meridian Speedway Season Opener. Starring the Pit Stop USA NASCAR Modifieds, Domino’s Legends, Mulder’s Engineered Junior Late Models, and Mini Stocks, this interwebular production will be the first of seven speedway competition productions slated for the month of May.
May 16’s two-part broadcast will feature the Speed Tour Sprint Cars in a double-headlining role, with the Project Filter Pro-4s, Coors Super Stocks, and Big Daddy’s Barbecue Hornets in the 1 p.m. Mountain Time matinee production. The Pepsi Crate and ISRL Sprint Cars and Teleperformance Street Stocks contest the 6 p.m. Mountain Time production on the same day.
Production during Memorial Day weekend has shifted the speedway schedule to a double-double Saturday-Sunday lineup. Saturday, May 23, production is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Mountain Time with the Pit Stop USA Modifieds, Mini Stocks, and Big Daddy’s Barbecue Hornets going wheel-to-wheel. The nightcap for Saturday night begins at 6 p.m. Mountain Time with the Speed Tour Modifieds, Pepsi Crate and ISRL Sprint Cars, and Teleperformance Street Stocks in the starring role.
Sunday, production begins again at 1 p.m. Mountain Time with the Project Filter Pro-4s, Teleperformance Street Stocks, and Domino’s Legends. Sunday wraps up the four-broadcasts-in-a-weekend stretch with the NAPA Auto Parts Big 5 Late Models, Speed Tour Modifieds, and Mulder Engineered Junior Late Models taking on the Concrete Jungle at 6 p.m. Mountain Time.
As with all of SpeedCast.tv and Meridian Speedway productions, current social distancing protocols will be followed in accordance with standing CDC and State of Idaho guidelines. Dedicated Social Distancing Marshalls will be on hand to monitor the production area. Those breaking with Social Distancing protocols will be removed from the facility.
