Stay-at-Home Order Adjusts Speedway Schedule

Stay-at-Home Order Adjusts Speedway Schedule

Due to Governor Little’s extension of Idaho’s Stay-at-Home order through April 30, Meridian Speedway has revised its early season schedule of events, temporarily cancelling the previously scheduled April 18 thru April 25 events.  Racers, Fans, and Marketing Partners will be updated as to the speedway’s plan to reschedule and confirm the commitments put in place prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Until this order expires, speedway activities will be limited to those described in the order extension. Further determination of what those limits allow will be announced at a later date.

At this time, with the Stay-at-Home order scheduled to lift on April 30, a tightly controlled Social Distance Test and Tune session is tentatively scheduled to be held on May 2, from noon to 5 p.m.

Live racing action is now slated to return on May 9 with racing divisions to be determined.  This event and the following event on May 16, will be broadcast live with a Pay-per-View option on the Meridian Speedway contracted streaming website, as it is uncertain if future governmental provisions will allow the grandstands to open.

Meridian Speedway wants to thank our fans for their patience and understanding during this time of uncertainty.  As soon as more information becomes available regarding any of our races this season updates will be provided via our website www.meridianspeedway.com and on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
