Super Stocks Square Off Saturdayadmin
The Coors Super Stocks shine this Saturday, June 13, as Meridian Speedway hosts Back on Track #10. Along with the thousand dollars to win Coors Super Stock and Pro Late Model feature, the Pepsi Crate Cars, Mini Stocks, Firehouse Pub and Grill Bombers, and Junior Late Models square off on the quarter-mile asphalt oval.
As Meridian Speedway continues to unite racers across the Northwest, the Coors Super Stocks open their ranks to the Pro Late Models for a big money showdown in the Concrete Jungle. Local racer Melissa Weaver is the odds on favorite to take home the checkers, but faces a laundry list of quick competitors ready to dethrone the division dominator.
Pepsi Crate Car racers Bryan Warf and Rob Grice have separated themselves from the rest of the pack. Keep your eyes on these two most recent champions as they go toe-to-toe for early-season supremacy Saturday.
Travis Pavlacky has dominated the Mini Stock ranks so far in the 2020 campaign. But right on his tailgate are DJ Sirani and Don Trafford, both hungry for their first division title.
The Firehouse Pub and Grill Bombers are another class bringing together racers from across the region. These low buck machines provided big entertainment in their first go-round, and look to beat and bang all the way to the Caleb’s Chop Shop Winner’s Circle again this Saturday.
The quarter-mile’s rising stars take to the track in the Mulder’s Engineered Race Engines Junior Late Models. Pre-season favorite Jody Moen has found herself on the wrong side of contact in each race thus far in the 2020 campaign, but the young racer has persevered, and sits just two markers behind Ashton Cristiani.
The Dairy Queen Bike Races for Kids makes its season debut Saturday. Kids, bring a bike and a helmet and get ready to leave your own tire tracks around the Concrete Jungle.
A limited number of general admission tickets are available both at the gate and online at https://boxoffice.diamondticketing.com/meridianspeedway/events. Adult tickets are $12, seniors and military member tickets are $10, kids 7-11 get in for $7, and as always kids 6 and under get in free. Gates open at 4:45 p.m. with the first green flag set for 6:45 p.m. Saturday night’s action will also be available for pay-per-view on SpeedCast.tv. We’ll see you this Saturday, June 13, for Back on Track #10 from under the big yellow water tower at Meridian Speedway.
