Title Chases Face Turning Point the Saturday

Meridian Speedway hosts Dairy Queen Bike Races for Kids Night presented by Boise Spa Movers this Saturday, August 7.  The Pauly’s Bar Room Street Stocks, Domino’s Legends, Boise Bath and Kitchen Company Mini Stocks, Project Filter Pro-4s, and Mulder Engineered Race Engines Junior Late Models join forces for a full night of short track racing in the heart of downtown Meridian, Idaho.

The full-contact Pauly’s Bar Room Street Stocks return Saturday for their ninth rumble in the Concrete Jungle.  Taylor Occhipinti rolls onto the quarter-mile with extra momentum after last race’s victory, but will have his hands full with three-time winners Josh Fanopoulos and Troy Evans if he wants a repeat visit to the Caleb’s Chop Shop Winner’s Circle.

It’s a Davis family reunion at the top of the Domino’s Legends leaderboard.  Patriarch Jerry leads sons Chance and Johnethan by 41 and 42 points respectively.  But two-time division winner Brok Kidd sits just two points behind Johnethan ready to disrupt the Davis’ with a strong Dairy Queen Bike Races for Kids Night showing.

The Boise Bath and Kitchen Company Mini Stocks have crowded the quarter-mile all season.  At the halfway point of the season Travis Pavlacky looks to be in the driver’s seat to win another Boise Bath and Kitchen Company Mini Stock title, but Don Trafford, Jason Sanders, and a whole host of competitors look to dethrone both Pavlacky and his quick pickup truck.

Project Filter Pro-4 driver Ryan Bailey enters Dairy Queen Bike Races for Kids Night with three-straight feature wins under his belt and over one hundred points in hand over second place point earner Ray Bolinger.

Delaney Grace and Nevaeh Hull renew their battle for Mulder Engineered Race Engines Junior Late Model supremacy as they race for the Trammel Construction Feature Flag.

General admission to the Dairy Queen Bike Races for Kids Night presented by Boise Spa Movers is just $13 for adults, $11 for seniors and military members, $7 for kids 7-11, and free for kids 6 and under.  Gates open at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, with qualifying at 6 p.m. and racing at 6:30 p.m.  Log on to www.meridianspeedway.com for advance tickets, and join our text club to stay up to speed with all the latest from around the quarter-mile by texting ‘Speed2021’ to 84483.  We’ll see you this Saturday, August 7, under the big yellow water tower at your NASCAR Home Track, Meridian Speedway.
