Weather No Match for $2 Keystone Light Night

MERIDIAN, Idaho—Open wheel fans are in for a treat as over twenty non-winged Pepsi Crate Cars and Idaho Sprintcar and Roadster League machines ready to crowd the quarter-mile.  Also scheduled are the Domino’s Legends, Coors Super Stocks, Factory Motor Parts Mini Stocks, and Firehouse Bombers.

Meridian Speedway’s $2 Keystone Light promotion is still up and running for tonight.  Pick up your 16-ounce aluminum cans for just two bucks until the final checkered flag drops.  Or, grab yourself a six-pack of ‘Stones in a souvenir bucket

The Speed Tour Regional Sprintcar Series debut at Meridian Speedway has been put on hold due to impending weather.  Speed Tour officials deemed track conditions too risky due to the high speeds achieved by the competitors, and so informed all out-of-town teams to remain home.  The series debut will now be the scheduled race May 4 at Magic Valley Speedway before the tour moves back to Meridian Speedway May 31 for the Bob FM Diamond Cup.  A handful of local winged sprintcars are on the premises and set to put on a thrilling exhibition after fast heat trophy presentations.

Also, don’t miss out on $2 Keystone Light Night.  Pick up your 16-ounce aluminums for $2 all night while supplies last.  $17 for a six-pack bucket.
