Winter Wins Round Three of Off-Season Seriesadmin
Mother Nature waved an early checkered flag over round three of the Boise Bath and Kitchen Company Winter Heat Series. Overcast skies and low temperatures limited participation in the Saturday, January 5, race day to a handful of the typical thirty competitors. Junior Stinger competitor Jody Moen, Big Daddy’s Barbecue Hornet runners Michael Capps, Joey Moore, and Josh Riparetti, and Bomber racer Rob Taylor collected championship points for their participation while the race event was postponed to January 26, the series’ next scheduled race day.
General admission for a full afternoon of wheel-to-wheel racing is $15, and includes a pit pass so you can get up close and personal with your favorite driver. All fans and crew are invited through the pit gate beginning at noon Saturday. Practice sessions begin at 1:30 p.m. with qualifying at 2:30 p.m. and racing at 3 p.m. Stay tuned to meridianspeedway.com for all the latest on the Boise Bath and Kitchen Company Winter Heat Series and text ‘meridianspeed’ to 84483 to receive exclusive updates from around the quarter-mile.
