Speedway Season Kicks Off With O'Reilly Opener
Meridian Speedway blows the dust off the crash walls this Saturday, April 4, with the O’Reilly Auto Parts Season Opener powered by YMC Mechanical. The NASCAR Modifieds headline an action-packed slate of racing alongside the NASCAR Trucks, Idaho CDL Training Street Stocks, Pepsi Sprintcars, Allied Fence Mini Stocks, and Idaho Asphalt Services Hornets.
The oldest division in NASCAR begins their fight anew Saturday as the NASCAR Modifieds take the quarter-mile oval in search of the night’s Allied Fence trophies. Fierce competition throughout the field has become the hallmark of the NASCAR Modified division. Don’t miss out on the first clash of these short track titans this Saturday night.
The NASCAR Trucks bring their brand of close quarters automotive combat into the Concrete Jungle for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Season Opener. Don’t miss a lap of the paint trading, fiberglass shredding action as these hardnose competitors take on their first test of the season.
The hard charging Idaho CDL Training Street Stocks also rumble to green this Saturday night. Watch contact as these racers to wrestle their steel-bodied beasts through the corners in pursuit of a parking spot in the Zamp Winner’s Circle.
Not to be left out, the Pepsi Crate Sprintcars also fire their engines for the first time in 2026. A strong cadre of competitors are ready to slice and dice their way to the front of the open-wheel field in pursuit of victory.
Fierce debate swirls around the Allied Fence Mini Stocks as they take to the track for the first time this season. Apart from the numerous driver rivalries that dot the Mini Stock pit area, the age-old question of front versus rear-wheel drive supremacy still rages. Which of these two camps will strike first this season?
The Idaho Asphalt Services Hornets round out the O’Reilly Auto Parts Season Opener lineup. Keep your eyes on these horn honking, fender bending competitors as they dash towards a season-opening victory.
General admission to Saturday night’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Season Opener powered by YMC Mechanical is just $15 for adults 12 and up, $13 for seniors 60 and up and military members, $9 for kids 7-11, and free for kids 6 and under.
